The Milwaukee Bucks were dealt another setback when they lost center Andrew Bogut for an even longer period of time. The Bucks who are already missing their leading scorer Michael Redd will now be without the former number 1 pick in the draft for at least 8 weeks. Earlier this week revealed a stress fracture in his lower back. Bogut was having a fine season averaging a double double for the season, with 11.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. The 10.3 rebounds lead the bucks and if he’d played enough games 4th in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks who are fighting for eighth place are becoming use to missing their stars. Redd has been out since late January with a season ending knee injury, and Bogut had already missed 13 of the last 18 games. The seven foot Center began having back spasms following a game with Philadelphia way back on December 17th. As of right now no surgery is scheduled.
With the losses Milwaukee 24-28 will find it tough to keep the Knicks and Nets at bay. The injury will also help my fantasy team keep it’s strangle hold on the cellar.
